COMPANY HISTORY
Sharp Bros. Seed Company of Missouri became part of the
Sharp Brothers family in 1985. Located in west central Missouri near Clinton, the primary emphasis of our company
has been on raising and selling the native species of the southern Great Plains and the tall grass prairie. We
specialize in native grasses and wildflowers. As the company has grown, the uses for our products have
diversified.
Primarily used for forage in previous years, now native
grasses and wildflowers are used for reclamation projects, CRP plantings, roadside revegetation, wildlife habitat
restoration and landscaping. We, along with our parent company located in Healy, Kansas, are leaders in the native
grass/native wildflower industry.
As a conservation oriented industry, it is our hope to
lead our customers in the 21st century with a knowledge and desire to better our planet using the plant
species that originated here.
